Local CityLights Servants

Brett Donald

Church Pastor/Overseer

Brett and his wife Natalie and their family live in North Burnaby and relocated from Langley in order to start this church.  Brett and Natalie both love the local church and are excited for what Jesus is going to do with CityLights.  Previous to CityLights, Brett was a youth and then associate pastor at Living Waters in Fort Langley for 7 years.  He also did a 2 years of youth ministry in Kelowna before moving to the lower mainland. He has his B.A in Religion from Summit Pacific College and his Masters in Christian Studies from Regent College.  Natalie currently directs music with CityLights and spends her days raising the little Donalds.

Brett and Natalie enjoy walks around Deer Lake, hanging on the patio, laughing with their kids and a good game of Settlers.

Tim Brown

Administrator of Facilities & Finance

Tim is a transplant from Central Alberta where he was raised in a family of eight. His background includes a year of Bible training, Mission Aviation and a Bachelors Degree from Trinity Western University. His role with CityLights is diverse and includes: financial administration, facilities and maintenance. He loves being a part of Jesus’ church and seeing God’s incredible grace touch lives in a way that leads to life surrender and transformation.

External Servants: Task Force

Because CityLights is a new local Church, oversight and accountability is given by a team of external leaders referred to as a “task force.” The Task Force serves as the Council of CityLights and is comprised of mature Christian leaders, and the team exists to protect, guide, affirm, and give wisdom. The Task Force will continue to serve until local overseers are raised up and qualified.
